Basically I unplugged the Dvd drive and used the sata cables to test the other HDD. i'll give that a go.. If you can, try running whatever it is you are trying to run. I tried to install FEAR and it worked with no problems. So run a system file check to make sure there are no corrupt files on your Windows installation. Can you tell me please how to find the Event Viewer and how to use it. CPU & mobo are new.. Hopefully the problem has been solved. Doeble click on an Event to open and on the icon below the up/down arrows to copy to clipboard and paste in a post here.
