Diagnosis: XP works fine, Vista is the culprit. Could be the disk, could be your computer, could be a speck of dust. It's good for copying a dvd and shrinking it to 4 GB then it automatically uses Burning ROM to burn it to disc. Moreover my current region is "Region 1". Check This Out

My DVD player will work for a while and then it will just freeze. After a few tests with Dell support the problem was determined to be the hardware. It says they are. CURRENT STATUS: when I press the button SOMETIMES the light will appear green (and that's the end of that) and other times nothing will happen.
