we DO have ink in them and sometimes when i restart my computer we see that the ink sometimes returns back to normal. The waste ink pads are normally housed in a black plastic box. You do not have to actually have your Epson Printer connected to your Computer System, to be able to install the software. It is not only caused by the clogged of the printhead!
