On a recent home-built gaming PC, two issues made it impossible for the machine to do anything more than start up for a few seconds: 1. Emachine Desktop Wont Boot Up no fans, no beep, no HD activation, nothing. The moniter displays "No signal", so that is working fine. Here on techspot we get 1 post every 2-3 days about an dead emachine motherboard, I believe this to be the most common (and unfortunetly the most aggrivating) component to fail. Hope this helps- I'll continue looking to see if E-machines uses a "funky" connector for their PSU...
