A DVD Video disc IS a data disc and there will be 2 folders visible when the disc is viewed in explorer. Also behaves the same way with memory cards from my camera and with DVDs and CDs. I recommend setting this to Ask me every time for the menu to appear each time you connect or insert a storage device. The Device Manager reports that the device is working properly.
