You should be able to get some ideas regarding number 4 if you try to run a Live Linux CD on it, which would be useful. When I reboot the screen gives me 2 options. I had everything backed up to an external hard drive, but it crashed and I can't get anything off of it. One dat i went my bookmarks to direct me to hotmail but i couldnt login? The blue screen had writing on it, but it was only up for less than half a second so I had no chance of reading it.
